Dental restoration is the treatment used to restore teeth to their original functionality.
At APT Dental we try to preserve your natural teeth as far as possible before resorting to dentures or implants. To do this we make use of the latest technology in lasers and 3D digital scanning.
With the use of this technology, we can remove decayed tooth material selectively without damaging the healthy tooth structure. Normal drilling and filling cause hairline cracks in the surrounding tooth with post-operative sensitivity and the possibility of future fracturing.
It is not possible to remove old amalgam fillings with a laser.
The process of restoration can be done in a single visit.
